Biblical Maps • Acts 13–28

Paul’s Missionary World

Follow Paul’s first, second, and third missionary journeys and his later voyage to Rome as four separate layers. The stops follow the sequence preserved in Acts; connecting lines are teaching reconstructions and do not claim the exact Roman roads or sailing tracks used between every named place.

Accuracy note: Acts gives many named stops but rarely identifies the exact road segment, harbor approach, or offshore track between them. Each layer therefore connects biblical locations in narrative order. Land and sea lines are schematic, and regional passages such as “Phrygia and Galatia” are not reduced to a single invented city.
Four layers, not one continuous mission route. The first two missionary journeys begin and return to Syrian Antioch. The third begins from Antioch but ends with Paul reaching Jerusalem. The later journey to Rome is different in character: Paul travels as a prisoner after appealing to Caesar, beginning from Caesarea and eventually reaching Rome after shipwreck on Malta.
