Series purpose
Move from borrowed faith toward personal discipleship.
This series is intentionally Jesus-centered and non-denominational. It teaches core Christian truth clearly, keeps Scripture above trends and labels, and treats secondary disagreements among faithful Christians with humility and respect.
The goal is discipleship to Christ, not recruitment into a particular Christian tradition.
Obedience matters, but it grows from God’s grace rather than becoming a way to earn love or worth.
Questions, doubt, confusion, and disagreement can be handled with patience, truth, and careful study.

A parent or trusted adult can guide the discussion while giving the young person room to answer, question, and think.
Youth ministry
Use the shared teaching with a preteen class, teen group, Sunday school setting, or discipleship gathering.
One-on-one mentoring
Work through a lesson with a trusted adult without turning the conversation into an interrogation or forced disclosure.
Personal study
Older students can read independently and bring questions to a trusted parent, pastor, youth leader, or mentor.
Safety & care
Spiritual growth never requires forced disclosure.
- Young people may answer generally or pass on a question. They should not be pressured to share private family, medical, sexual, mental-health, abuse, bullying, or other sensitive experiences.
- These studies do not ask for names, ages, schools, locations, photos, contact details, private prayer information, accounts, or public profiles.
- If a young person shares information suggesting they or another person may be unsafe, listen calmly and follow your church or organization’s safeguarding procedures and applicable reporting requirements. Do not promise secrecy you cannot keep.
- Leaders should not diagnose, investigate, or counsel beyond their role. Serious concerns should be connected to an appropriate trusted adult and established care procedures.
